What sort of works for them is the whole, two negative integers cross each other out and equal a positive, thing. Two people way too smart for their own good (and with the energy and mental capacity to overthink everything and everything) inevitably lay bare the various outpourings of their neuroses: hair-trigger tempers, irrationally strong senses of pride, narcissistic-fueled egos. But they just work so magnetically well.
